In my last post, I highlighted a great venue to have a good date night, but today I want to highlight a more intimate setting. The Mystic Orb in Clinton, Tennessee, describes themselves as mysterious merchants with beautiful & unique items; art, crafts and good vibes! The shop is woman-owned by an amazing mother and daughter team. They work incredibly hard to stock a variety of items made by themselves and a host of talented local artists and makers. They recently moved their store within the same building so that they could acquire a separate space for workshops and reader events. I recently attended a Wire Weaving 101 class, and cannot wait to participate more. Ashley is a great teacher, and interacting with the other participants was an awesome night out for this awkward, anxiety-filled aura photographer.
They are more than just a metaphysical store tucked into a side street near downtown Clinton. They have fostered a community of artists, healers and readers, and given us a gentle place to be ourselves and share our talents or craft.
The event that I will be attending this Saturday is a celebration of their new space and will not be as quiet as my normal events there, but I am beyond thrilled for them. It is a great location to have your dog or cat aura’s captured too.
Even if you cannot attend this Saturday, you definitely need to check them out…holiday shopping is not too far away.
